This is the response I received from the state after I inquired who my local apiary inspector might be.  The suggestion came after thread that is currently locked down said I should ask.  Not sure what to make of the response other than I am hopeful they can find some people to fill the positions.  IF you cant read this then check Letter (http://s994.photobucket.com/albums/af67/CVBees/?action=view&current=img046.jpg)

The problem before was not finding people,it was not budgeted to pay them,so they were furloughed. But I think PA statute in bee law says the secretary shall appoint a chief inspector to be in charge of all apiary inspections and shall appoint such additional inspectors as necessary.
That is in 2103 of the statute:

Thanks for posting the letter you received.

So there's a government job out there for someone who wants no money or benefits from working.

I think money was allocated for six inspectors this year. It is not an unpaid job.
