has anyone thought of using individual pie slice containers to sell comb honey? seems like a unique triangular approach. Just throwing the idea out there. Now to look at restaurant suppliers? for such a thing.
Hey Gabect , That is a great example of thinking outside the box ! The idea certainly seems to have merit . I hope someone here will try it and report back to the rest . ---Burl---
Thanks. I cant find them shallower. The squares seem easier to apply to comb. Heres what I found.

Mmmmm... beecomb pie, I can't wait!
Very interesting. It costs $1 per cut comb container I buy (4x4). I think they are much more attractive and durable than the ones on the link shown. But I really like the idea though.
The plastic seems at least twice as thick on the 4 x 4.
I'd estimate even thicker than that. I can stack those and not worry about them falling over. With the pie slices I'd be afraid they'd slide and damage exactly what they're supposed to protect.

Dcoates--Do you mind sharing where you purchase your boxes? I'm crossing my fingers for a great crop this year :)
OP--I love your idea! Although DC brings up a good point about stackability. I bet you could work it out, though...
2 trianlges make a square theoretically, lol. The quality of the plastic is very different. I'd love to know where Dcoates gets supplies as well. Unless i can find the same thickness/quality of a container, 4 x 4 wins.

I get them from Betterbee for about $1 apiece. I've seen them elsewhere for about the same price too.
Thanks :)
