Does anyone know anyplace that still has bees for sale this late in the spring?

I would contact your local bee association. A couple of folks around here have scored Nuk's in that manner at this time of year.

You might try searching for a nuc instead of a package. The cost over a package may be slightly higher but you are getting bees that are much further along than a package.
As stated before check for a local beekeepers association, someone may have a nuc or even get on a swarm list locally if available.
My first hive was a split GIVEN to me from another beek. Local beekeeping associations are full of helpful information, including where to get bees. :-D
