Would anyone know how to make cherry liqueur using honey? :-D
Unless you have a still and a license to run it, you'll just need to use the honey as sweetener for the liquer, but I have no receipe for that. You can brew mead and cherry mead, though. :) Or a honey beer.
Oh, yeah I do it all the time.
Get a pound of the nicest cherries you can find (I like to use Bing's), pick out the best six and marinate them for at least two weeks in some raw wildflower honey. Pour two inches of Gentleman Jack into a "rocks" glass and add two cherries. Drink half the Jack and eat one of the cherries, and then finish the Jack and eat the other cherry. Adjust the amount of cherries you marinade to suit your needs.
I have found that you can get great bargains buying a crate of cherries at a time.
Hope this helps.
Thak you for your suggestions I will be trying them out.
I am going to experament some and if it works out i will post what I have done under the recipe section.
Thanks again
