Title: How to get wax off of my bee brush.
Post by: beehappy1950 on June 05, 2010, 04:23:46 PM
I keep my brush and some wax scrapings in an old car. Got kind of hot in there and some of the wax melted and stuck to my brush. It coated the first half inch of the bristles. I could probably wipe off each strand but probably faster to buy new one. Ha Thanks Harold

Before you try the blowdryer route freeze the brush and see how much wax you can get off by bending and gently pounding (Pound with the bristles straight not bent) the brush.  The cold will make the wax brittle.  Then try the blowdryer on what is left.
