Title: Trap outs???
Post by: Dracono on June 08, 2010, 07:07:38 PM
How does one make a trap out and use it properly?
My situation is I have a swarm living in a tree for about a year now and the golf course doesn't want to cut down the tree. and the whole is about 10 ft off the ground.
I have plenty of branches to put up a swarm trap but what good is that going to do if they have had made a home inside of the tree?

Thanks Dracono

Grainger has #8 screen, 24"x100' $175  drop ship if you like from the online catalog. The local hardware store quoted me the same price

Use buss bee's link. Read everything there. This information has worked fine for me too. You can get a lot of bees out of trees.
