do the supers have to bee caped before taking the honey?   if taken with out being caped can you dehumidify and how would you go about that. I know that's three but please help. Pembroke

it needs to be capped or almost all capped.  if not, it will ferment....then you can drink it  :-)

If you are wanting to save the bees some work by not capping the honey get a refractometer to check the moisture content before you pull it.

them refractometers are expensive

you can pick a descent one up for less than 75 buck. Cheap insurance policy.
