Title: My rehab yard (home yard)
Post by: hardwood on July 16, 2010, 01:01:38 PM
Thought ya'll might like to see where I strengthen my swarms and cut outs before moving them to my out yards.

Dude, does she want the trailer back? That appears to be a really nice trailer!

I'm glad you got a video camera, I've been telling Schawee to be on the look out for your videos as I just know they're gonna be awesome!

Liked the yard BTW.

Thanks all. I get to keep the camper too! My son and I are going to open it today and see what shape it's in. It shouldn't bother the bees as they are all cozy in the cabinet and only exit from the water port.

OH yeah that was a really nice bee yard Scott and very interesting beehive there on that camper.  I hope they stick around till next year.

Ok Irwin, I'll see if I can get some footage for ya tomorrow. My son thinks we should take the cabinet doors off and screw a piece of plexiglass over the whole thing...make it into an OB hive. I'm thinking that would be pretty cool! I don't know how my inspector is going to like it though (my yearly inspection is due next month).

Annette, Thanks for the kind words! The only thing I'm missing out there is some sort of shade :-D

You may just want to modify the camper a bit to hold a few more hives.   You could pick up a little pollination work with it and be the talk of the town.

Annette, you're just teasing me along now! :-D I'm lovin' every second :-D

Allen, I'll be taking the pop up to Bud's next year. I could pick up a few pollination contracts on the way maybe?
