This is my third year of beekeeping and I finally have a strong colony - yeah :-D ! I have a deep and a medium for brood. I added a medium super of foundationless two weeks ago and the bees have drawn this out 80% - 90%, and they are continuing to work hard. I think we have another 8 weeks before killing frosts - hopefully. Not sure about what is blooming right now for honey flow, possibly alfalfa and some blackberry.
Is it too late to add another honey super? Any rules of thumb for when to add, when not to add in terms of getting late in the season?
thanks for any help!

Unless you have a good fall flow john, it's probably too late. Of course i'm in the south but generally this time of year, you will need to make sure that they have enough for themselves for the winter (which you will get sooner than I).
Check with some beeks in your area.

nothing lost if they don't fill it as long as you are not giving them so much room that you attract critters.
You've got a good two months before the fall growing/nectar season closes for the bees. Plenty of time to fill most if not all of another super in the next month or so if the flow is right.
