Title: Bee squadrons
Post by: gunner7888 on August 09, 2010, 11:39:57 AM
I have noticed that often, there are some bees on the porch with a few coming and going, then about 10-15 bees all loaded up with same pollen come swinging in like a "squadron" of fighter planes coming in for a landing. Do they travel together or is this just coincidence?

The only time I have ever seen honey bees fly in squadron form was on the bee movie.

I was looking through some old stuff in the archives. This was in general beekeeping. I thought it was worthy enough to belong to the humor section! lol . So here you go! 😁
