We took off 7 supers yesterday, 5/23/05. We extracted 15 gal of honey yesterday afternoon. Will probally bottle some up tonight. There were a couple of supers where we left a few frames that were not all capped. We should have about 4 more supers to take off in about 10 to 15 days.
I took off 8 medium frames the other day, and got 4 quarts out of it. I still have 3 more frames to do. I expect to have about 20 pounds when I'm done. I want to be smart this year though and not give it all away. :) Atleast not until I have what we need for a years worth of our own honey usage. That would be about 250 pounds.
My husband uses ALOT of honey in his coffee.
