Title: And I thought I had heard it all...
Post by: BULLSEYE BILL on August 13, 2010, 02:57:23 AM
My full time business is bee relocation so I get calls every day inquiring about my services.  I thought I had heard just about every wacky thing that those uninitiated folks think they know about honeybees until now.

The other day I had a lady call me wanting me to come and take some bees out of a tree in front of her fathers house.  Of course the tree is next to the sidewalk and a hazard to the public.  Naturally the tree is on city property and I should be happy to remove them for the sake of the bees and no monetary recourse.  Yeah, right, it's only about 70 miles round trip.

"Oh, they will be easy to get. they are in a big clump next to the knothole on the treetrunk."  "You will be lucky to get these bees, they are just babies and don't even have their wings yet."   :jawdrop: :lau:

Ya, but those babies without wings don't even have teeth yet so you will have to bottle feed them.
