Here in OH, I sold a hive consisting of the bees in 1 deep and 1 medium for $150. It was a homemade hive and I know nucs go for around $95, so I didn't make much. Helped out a new beek, though.

We sell deep 10 frame deeps (frames and bees only) for $120-150 season dependent.
5 frame nucs $75-90.

You should be able to find hives from larger bee operations that will be willing to sell before shipping their hives south for the winter.  It don't hurt to call and ask.
