Extracted 400lbs of lavender honey off 3 colonies last night

Did you plant the lavender yourself or place the hives at a field of it?

How is the new honey house working?  :)

That was a exceptional yield for 3 on a 20 acres field.   I have about 25 more colonies to go that should average about 50 - 100 each of thistle honey.   Most likely more that are close to the 50 mark.   Honey house is working well but decapping needs to be worked on

Wow! Excellent yield. Post a picture of the honey. I wonder what the color of Lavender honey is.
