$50.00 for just the box, WOW!  Frames must be $10.00 each, $25.00 for the top and bottom.
That's $200.00 for just the hive with no bees.
As P.T. Barnum used to say: "There's as sucker born minute." or once a second on ebay.

What.... You don't think it's a good deal? Only 98.29 with shipping for a 14.00 box, especially when it's made too deep. "11 1/2 rather that 9 5/8" Plus made of heavy oak rather than light pine or cypress.

I think I'll order a dozen as soon as my rich uncle dies and leaves me a billion.

Wow for $US50 I'ld be expecting it to do its own honey extracting too.

I wonder if the box has a ledge to place the frames on?   I couldn't see handles either.   I guess that cost extra too.

A full deep with 11 inch thick frames.  He just cut a 1 x 12 into a box.  The box is 11 1/2 inches tall.

Looks like he's nailed a 1x for a frame rest. Can you say 'eat up with burr comb AND propolis everwhere?'

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the picture it looks an aweful lot like white PINE or FIR, not oak.

Amazing the things people try to sell.  I try to give the benefit of the doubt and think maybe they threw it up really fast and didn't have time to correct them, but that price....nah...looks like somebody trying to con the unsuspecting public.

I'm wondering about the bee rescue.  Is this like a home for lost and or abandoned bees?  I've hard of specific dog breed rescues, horse rescues etc, but never a bee rescue.  I'm picturing an animal planet special where the camera pans the guys living room full of rescued bees while he and the reporter talks about the tragic stories of the various abused and homeless bees. :-D

There is some good news for ya'll out there that did not bid on it, it has been relisted, and this time bidding was started at $60.  But they are throwing in 10 brand new empty frames with out foundation.  And they kept the shipping cost the same.  Don't let this one get away this time.  Everyone needs a empty box like this one to rescue the bees.

And sorry, there is no shipping down under.  But it's only US $45.65 to me here in the states.
