OK I have the swarm next door a top bar hive built and Lang style box one large frame and one Med Frame
Should I get any Bee Books or wing it by reading the Net and asking Questions here

This site has been a huge help to me, but I think some good books are definitely worth the time. One good one for me was "the classroom" by Jerry Hayes. another was "first year beekeeping" (forgot the author) and "The hive and the honeybee" by LL Langstroth, a member of the site wrote "beekeeping for dummies". Some of the members - Mike Bush and Robo in particular have some really informative websites. I'm sure I left a pile out, and others will add to the list but I definitely like those.
Complete Idiot's Guide to Beekeeping by Dean Stiglitz is a very good book for practical beekeeping. I think this is the book Bee Happy was thinking of that was written by a forum member. Emphasizes non-treatment and natural comb. There is an internet forum that goes with the book, but it hasn't gotten off the ground yet.
If you want detailed discussion on everything, there is Hive and the Honeybee which is a very old book that was republished and updated in 1992. Your library might have it.
Wisdom of the Hive is also worth reading.
It's not so much that you NEED books on beekeeping, but you will find that the more interested (hooked) you become, the more you need to immerse yourself in "anything bee".
Books are great resources at times ...especially for beginners. Some basic info that would be hard to deliver in a forum might be easily understood with a simple graph in a book (life cycle of the different castes of bees for example).
ABC XYZ is great..The hive and the honey bee...the list goes on.

If your anything at all like me, you will buy everyone that you come across. First, just the basic beekeeping books. Then later on, as your experience grows, more in depth books on the matters of queen rearing, genetics, etc. Buy them all :)
go to the library and read all that they have. that will be a nice, free, start. after that, you'll know more about what you don't know and that will help you buy the books you really need.
those mentioned above are great.
I like to find free pdf downloads of the older books out there.
In many ways, the older books are still very viable, have lots of relevant information and in some cases, may still have it right over newer stuff.

So you guys are saying do the Tree Trap out and Raise some bees ? correct
Did anyone make their own Smoker so far all I bought is the frames for the Lang
Everything else is dumpster special or 1X for the Lumber yard

I made a Post about a Hive in a tree in my neighbors Yard and I was refereed to IDee's Thread on
"How To Do Trap outs"
My problem now is, I have no Live comb to put in the Box ,I'm going to try a Keeper I gave a Shed Hive
removal job too and see if he'll sell me a Frame ,but he hasn't been the nicest since I gave him the Job
If that fails which I believe will I will see if I can get in touch with some other keepers
I have been to a couple of class's at the local collage but seems the people are all new and I don't think
they will do it thinking they may harm there own hive,I do have one guy an hour or so away that offered me
a Nuc but then never called Back ,I guess I'll no more by mid week but I won't trap them until here more here
or get more talk about just using Comb which I have but it was froze because of beetles and Moths

I started at the library as Kathy recommends. I read everything I could find. Then I bought "Hive and the Honey Bee" and "ABC XYZ of Bee Culture" and "starting right with bees". I enjoyed all of them, but I liked "ABC XYZ" the most.
I have "ABC XYZ" via Kindle and so far I like it very much
