Title: Honey Bees Removed From Two Story House
Post by: JP on September 10, 2010, 01:04:39 AM
This may be the last bee removal of the season with Schawee. He says he's gonna start getting real busy wrestling alligators and doing taxidermy (makin' the big bucks!) from here on out.

This Monday coming he and I are going to set lines and Tuesday we will be pulling those lines for alligators, hopefully some big tree shaka will take the bait.

I will video our hunt. Hopefully, Schawee don't get mad at me and feed me to the alligators.

Getting back to this removal, it was good sized with lots of honey. If you enjoy seeing me get stung then watch this video.

I went back today and had to open four more ceiling sections and still didn't get the queen but I have a deep with a medium sitting on top a ladder full of bees.

Perhaps when I go back tomorrow she'll be in the box. That would be nice.

47 videos on the tube.  Not bad.   Maybe you should make a video of you putting your hives together.    So just how many times did you get stung that day?  And do you think the bees were pissy because they lost the queen?  I can't wait for the gator video.

First day was the worst day, about a dozen times, still not too bad though, all things considered. yesterday, three times. Today just once, but I deserved that one for pushing against the bee with my fore arm.
