Beekeeping is something you can't just jump into. It takes careful consideration. A beekeeping starter will help you get on track  It usually includes information on:
- Which bees to buy
- Beekeeping equipment you will be needing
What is a "beekeeping starter"?

A field of Wild Flowers :?
:-D
my beekeeping starter kit was youtube. I was amazed at the info I found there. After that was beekeeping for dummies and of course, the bee forums.

I would have to say that was mine too and then right before I got my bees, my local bee club.
same here. i watched a lot of youtube videos especially ones on the tbh which is why i decided to go that route. i also read beekeeping for dummies and a few other books in the bookstore ( didn't buy them, just read them ). plus i read a bunch of stuff on the internet also.
I found Michael Bush's website (http://www.bushfarms.com/bees.htm), and several forums. Also was given The Hive and the Honeybee and a State Department of Agriculture book from 1966 called Bees and Honey.
School of hard knocks. (or really bad stings?)
My guess is this guy wanted to post a link to his personal commercial site to sell something.
Maybe it will come up on ebay.

I dont know about that.... I bought 2 hives of bees a few years ago and didn't know anything about them...... but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express the day before I bought em! :yippiechick:
I started w/ "How to Keep Bees and Sell Honey," then advanced to "The ABC and XYZs of Bee Culture." Didn't even really have a mentor to ask questions. Didn't have all this great internet stuff back in the 1980s. It has made taking the hobby back up after a 20 year hiatus so much more fun, even with the mite problems.
