Our bees from one colony are coming out the entrance one after the other weak and falling on the ground dieing in about 30 min. Anyone know what could be wrong ? The other colonies are fine, they are all together in the same yard.
Nosema ceranae maybe. If they get too weak and can not fly back home. Maybe.
Insecticide? Starvation? All of these can cause that. Starvation is what it sounds like the most...

Starvation is the first thing I came up with,so we started feeding them the same time I posted this morning. We will go in the hive tomarrow to see if they have store. Will let y'all know what we find.
Anyone else have any thoughts ?
If they are starving they will be low or out of stores, which means that the hive itself will be light weight. In the morning go out and lift the hive to see how much it weighs.
how bad is it--what did you do for mites--RDY-B

Where are all the yellow jackets and hornets cleaning up the trailer floor?
Good video there.
That looked just like one of my bee yards after we pulled honey this year. In my case it was robbing.

that vid is a short version of a more detail vid-the keeper is in san mateo and dose not treat for mites and has this form of die off every year--the keeper sweeps up the dead bees daliy-until no more bees are left -this is in direct relation to viruses carried by mites-
I had a felling that there mite be something going on when jole posted about old bees being kicked out of the hive--
this keeper still dose not treat and experiences huge loses every year-RDY-B
heres the long version
Contemplating the bee die off, San Mateo, California (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj4fGHskXFw#)
We are treatment free and no problem with anything. All of our hives were being robbed 2-3 weeks ago. There were dead bees from them fighting,we closed down the entrance and stopped that. I think one hive got badly robbed and is now starving, will see tomarrow. Going to do our winter check.
most likely prospect would be nosema.
then any one of the various paralysis disease associated with varroa.
