My uncle, who has been a beekeeper for several years, called me the other day. He told me to come and get his equipment because he was planning on spending more of his retired time in either Florida or Alaska fishing and not here beekeeping. He cut me one heckuva 'family deal' on two truckloads of stuff. I came home with 56 hive bodies w/drawn foundation (deeps, meds and shallows) a 20 frame maxant, 220lb kelley bottling tank, countless bottom boards, inner covers and telescoping covers, frame feeders and hive top feeders. Plus countless other odds and ends. He said he didn't want to just give it to me so he charged me $500 and a bucket of honey . Hows that for a sweet deal? Now, if I just had the bees to go in them
I'd say that was a sweet deal!

Not bad...... I need an Uncle like that. Were there any bees in the deal or will you be buying a lot of packages to fill those boxes this spring?

Nope, no bees. Looks like there will be quite a few packages purchased.
