Title: Many Dead Bees!
Post by: MeadFarm on November 30, 2010, 08:00:18 PM
I just went around to check on my hives and three of the strongest had hundreds of dead bees on the ground in front of the hive! I cracked them open and everything seemed normal inside - lots of bees (for November), honey stores, pollen etc.
Could this be carnage from a robbing frenzy?
Why only three of the hives? And the strongest ones???

Thanks Iddee.
I just saw that post. Silly me for not looking first. My wife says that I do that pretty much all the time - ask first, look after.
