Here's a link to a story about some bees in NY that found a odd source for syrup. I'd be upset!

I think the cherry company should be fined until they take care of the problem. They are obviously not taking care of the waste and byproducts properly....

Excellent solution.....
NYC just fought a battle to allow beekeeping in the city to be legal and now you want to fine a company that has been in business for years without any issue because you have bought a non-native species of insect into the city and they are getting into the dyed corn syrup. Perfect example of why NY is not business friendly.
Why is it the cherry companies problems and not the beekeepers who have bought the bees into the area. Try telling a pool owner that their pool is the problem and not your bees......
It sounds like the cherry company is doing more than required by hiring someone to come in and address the problem. Granted they have issues with the bees, so it is in their best interests. At least they aren't petitioning to ban beekeeping
wasn't there a story about a donut shop having problems with bees in the frosting? maybe we should just get rid of all sweet stuff
Rumor Has it the DA is working or Getting the Bees and owner for Grand Theft
The only comment when the NY times reporter asked was......... (and I quote)
"its a very Sticking issue" :-D
