Title: Pendleton, Indiana USA
Post by: BaB on December 06, 2010, 09:37:24 AM
Hello everyone, I'm a very newbee, I live in Pendleton, Indiana, I'm retired and have been doing woodworking as a hobby for years. 99.5% of all my wood projects are made out of Eastern Red Aromatic Cedar so when the bug struck me to get into keeping Bees I made my hive with this wood, now I figure if the Bees don't like it I can turn it into a hugh bird house. I made a post under Top Bar Hives "My First Hive" and was allowed to post a link to picture of my hive. http://thompsonandsonwoodworking.com/ (http://thompsonandsonwoodworking.com/)
Thanks for allowing me into your group.

Hello BaB.

Welcome to beekeeping and the forum.

I see from your other post you belong to the two state wide associations in Indiana. I think most beekeepers in the state belong to both. Through the National Honey Bee Day program, I have met some very helpful and wonderful beekeepers from your state. I hope you get involved and have a blast.

I also was impressed with your TBH.  ;)
