Title: LOOKING FOR OLDER 40+ frame extractor.
Post by: BMAC on January 04, 2011, 08:19:14 PM
I am looking for an older 40+ frame extractor that I can work on over the winter as a project.  If you have one you want to part with and are pretty close to the NE portion of the country send me an email

I spotted this one.  But it's not in your neck of the woods.  http://www.beesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247801 (http://www.beesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247801)

This was the post I was looking for when I saw the above post but they are apparently gone.  http://www.beesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246307 (http://www.beesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246307)

I appreciate the scoop on both those extractors.  I already have 2 32 frame dadant stainless extractors for extracting honey.  I want an older one like a woodsman so I can convert it to a wax spinner.

I found 2 old 50 frame woodsmans, but unfortunatly i'm in NW Minnesota. One of them i am restoring as my school shop project, but how would you go about converting it to a spinner?
