Title: Hello from southern Minnesota
Post by: S.M.N.Bee on January 18, 2011, 03:21:00 PM

   Hi everyone

I am in my first year of bee keeping. One hive so far. Will be adding a second this spring. At least if this wonderful minnesota weather doesn't kill the hive I currently have.

On a more personal note I would like to thank everone on this forum. The information brought fourth on this forum has been of grate help.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum S.M.N.Bee glad to have you join us. I hope you're ready for some good old fashioned Minnesota cold this week. We're supposed to be at -20 Thursday and Friday night.

If this is the only really cold week I can handle it. It can start to warm up then. I just started beeking last year as well. I started with two packages and now I have the two hives and two nucs I am trying to winter. We'll see how it goes.
