Title: whopper of a storm
Post by: jxbeeman on June 07, 2005, 07:18:31 AM
wow yesterday (monday) was a long 12 hr day at work and when i got home all but one of my hives covers where blown off and 2 hives were blown clear over.  i guess that the winds where around 50mph or more.  what a day.  oh and when i came home i had to be rerouted because some of the high voltage lines where still hot because the electric comp couldn't get around to turning them off because of other lines down.

I work at Ithaca College, and we had a two-hour electrical outage. Funny how when there are no computers, everyone stands around talking... Guess there's no work to do without them!

I live over in Schuyler, though, and while I think we got drenched here, my hives were ok. Yeah!
