Title: Cheap paint
Post by: greenbtree on February 21, 2011, 06:53:52 PM
Scored some Dutchboy "Extreme Hold" exterior paint, regularly $30 a gallon for $5 today at Walmart.  Closing that line out I think, people might want to check their Walmarts.  I got two gallons of actual white, but they had light and dark tint bases as well.

The last cheap mis-tint paint I bought was pretty expensive...I paid for it and it's been sitting around unused ever since.

Bees don't care if their boxes aren't painted.  ;)

I've got a Buddy that clears out foreclosed homes and he gives me paint for free. Just picked up about 50gal from him (10gal was pink )

bees might not care, but if i left wood unpainted around here it wouldn't last long.  oops paint i great.  i usually find my at lowes or home depot.  same price you got.  what bees really don't care about is color  ;)

Good deal there.    Wish I could find some, in white of course.   :-D

Oh, and it's actually "Extreme Adhesion"  not "Extreme Hold".  Thinking about it, "Extreme Hold" is probably hair gel. :-D  Yeah, I know the bees don't care about painted, unpainted, white or hot pink - but the hubby does, and since he is putting up with what he terms a "mania" it's the least I can do.
