Title: One Hive..
Post by: Shep1478 on February 21, 2011, 06:56:17 PM
I had reported last month that both of my hives were as dead as can be, but I'm happy to say that the one I considered my "weak" hive actually is alive and well!

I popped it open today when temps hit about 62f and was pleased to see all kinds of activity.  I did take some pic's, so have a look!

Wow! your hive looks great coming out from winter. the brood pattern is gold! I wished I could open up my hive but I"ve not had 62F like you yet.

I should have taken pictures. I inspected my colonies this weekend and one of my top deeps was 10 frames of full honey. Never seen that before.
