Hello and Welcome!
I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a great place to learn more about bees & beekeeping. I find the 'seach' function to be very useful when I want an immediate answer - very often I can find previous threads discussing the topics I'm curious about. Also, be sure to check out the tutorials on the main Beemaster page ("Backyard Beekeeping Course").
I'll second Bee-Bop's suggestion: get involved with a local club. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes and are good for finding mentors and getting connected with nearby beeks.
