Title: Edgewater bee tree removal 02/09/11
Post by: hardwood on February 25, 2011, 10:55:09 PM
This is Peggy's first attempt at filming solo. Unfortunately the camera had very little battery life left so she just shot what she could. I also think (know) that she was a little disgruntled over being left on the ground...she was itchin' for some bee fun!

The log is now in our Oak Hill bee yard awaiting cut out...part 2 to follow once we get time to do the actual cutting :-D

The video cut off just before it was lowered. Y'all had it tied to the lift? Any more footage?

Not tied to the lift JP. The rope goes up and over a large branch. The branch was not directly over the piece we cut off so a secondary rope was tied to it to let it swing slowly away. I lowered it right into the bed of my truck.

There's no more footage I'm afraid. The camera battery ended the filming for us.
