Title: Two Colonies Removed From Garage Wall-February 24, 2011
Post by: JP on February 26, 2011, 12:30:11 AM
Emil and I did another one that was in a nasty garage wall in New Orleans. One hive was quite pissy, the smaller of the two. Still no swarm cells evident at least down my way. My buddy Bailey in Raceland, Louisiana told me he saw queen cells today in one of his colonies. Should be getting swarm calls any day now.

I'm must stop watching these videos as they are making me depressed.  You're having way too much fun and I'm still stuck up here in the freezer... :'(

I'm bumping this up to make sure I watch it later. Doing taxes right now and feeling frantic.

Nice job JP. We are still dealing with snow so it's nice to see someone working with bees.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Nice job JP. I have to say, I'm jealous too. It was 23 below zero here this morning.

Last year it stayed cold longer down here and I didn't start fooling with them much until third week of March. I'm happy to be messin' with them again.
