Title: The Drones have arrived in Tennessee
Post by: VolunteerK9 on March 22, 2011, 12:03:12 PM
I noticed this past Saturday that one of my hives have already hatched out drones. This hive is going gangbusters right now-just hope I can keep the swarm drive out of them for awhile.

Along with the drones the SHB have arrived. Saw the first ones of the season yesterday in one of my hives. The trap under the hive had SHB larva also. That 80 degree weather has its drawbacks also.

Inspected a few hives yesterday with lots of drone brood, and one that had already hatched some.  I have a queenless hive so have never been happier to see the little guys!
