We went down to the bayou, bickered & bickered some more, and removed bees in the process. And of course bickered the entire way home. That is how it goes amongst true friends. :-D

JP, I've seen you staple your bottom board and your hive boxes together when you're on a job site like this. How, though, do you pull those staples out once you get the hive in its permanent spot? Do they make industrial-sized staple removers?
Also, I don't see why you can't shoot a few videos at Bud's and upload it for those of us who can't make it this year. Otherwise, we're all gonna be moping around for days wondering what fun we're missing.

Here is the queen from the small cut out in the trailer floor from yesterday. Schawee found her when he emptied the bee vac box today. She is just about jet black!
He also got the queen from the removal we videoed. I wasn't sure they had one with all that drone brood but what ya know!
