Title: My girls are fashion bugs.
Post by: Dr. B in Wisconsin on April 13, 2011, 08:34:01 PM
Had a small warmup here in Wisconsin, about 65 F today. I was watching the bees coming and going and they were bringing in alot of pollen in today. There are no flowers or leaves on the trees here yet. The grass is getting green but thats about it. Some of the bees had white, yellow, orange, black but the most interesting color was a blue almost like a royal blue, no idea where that would be coming from. Like I said my girls are fashion bugs just like most women. I think I would date the gal with the royal blue, looked wealthy.

Hello Dr B,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollen_source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollen_source)

It looks like you have some fireweed there.  So maybe that gal could be a bit fiery after all.

There's no black pollen listed on that page, but poppy with the dark grey is the closest.
