Will the bees seal a queen cell if there were no larva inside?
I'm asking because I have a queenless hive, I put some eggs in there. Those have queen cells. Ok.
But there is one frame that I know had older brood but now see two queen cells on that end, capped.
Not sure if the bees tried to take an older larvae and made emergency cells around it.
Not unheard of i'd supect if the queen ends up being sub par she will be killed as soon as she emerges.
