Title: Smokers
Post by: JD on April 15, 2011, 01:33:55 PM
My smoker lid is sticking and is hard to open. Scraping doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? JD

Get a Torch and burn it off
You maybe able to get it off with gas or kerosene
No you don't light the gas or Kara just wipe it and air out
of wash and dry out
I also think a can of Brake Parts cleaner will do it

Then lay off all the Pine  :-D

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try. I've been burning cedar chips. They lite up pretty good, not to mention smell good. Thanks again. JD

wire brush on the end of a drill is quicker if you need it right away

Burn it with a torch until it flakes off.
