Title: Lassie
Post by: hardwood on April 16, 2011, 01:46:18 PM
I just watched the coolest old rerun of the Lassie show. The kids were looking to get some bees so they could sell some honey at the fair. They went "bee-lining" and (of course) Lassie found the bee tree. They cut the bees out of the tree with a hatchet only to have them harassed by a raccoon once hived loosing their honey crop. Lassie also found them a swarm which they  hived and at the end their money problems were solved when a neighbor hired out their (2) hives for pollination at $3 per hive.

That would have been fun to watch. I used to just love Lassie and watched all the shows when I was a little girl.
