Title: Got to help a family start their very first hive today!
Post by: njoylife10 on April 18, 2011, 06:52:20 PM
They just wanted a little moral support from someone who had been through it, so I got to be there just to talk them through it.  They did an awesome job.  Funny to watch their disappointment at squishing their first bee.  I remember that feeling.  Boy, if only I could make a living doing that.  I could do that every day and not get tired of it.

One more beekeeper started today.

Good job! I sometimes think that helping others get into bees is the best part of beekeeping.
