Had to open up a wall and go through quite a bit of trouble to remove this newly established swarm but the outcome was awesome!

Lake Vista Swarm Catch-April 14, 2011 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REIBDq0sjYc#ws)
"She has a little Tiara" and it was so straight faced!
I would have liked to seen a close up shot of the top plate of the wall after the bees were removed to see how much wax the bees had placed already. I does not take them very long to get started. Sorry it took so long to convince them to go into that hive. Great video. Thanks JP.

Have you ever used a white cloth as a ramp into your hives for a swarm? I did it on my first removal 4 years ago and 2x since then. Worked very well every time. Also seen some videos on European skep keepers using them. Just duc tape one end to a wall and the other to the landing board and they go right in. Works best if they are going up stream.
Well that did not look easy, but thank goodness you found the queen. JP it sure looks like more than 3 lbs of bees to me. I know the packages are 3 lbs of bees and they look really small compared to all those bees.
Maybe it was more than three lbs Annette, you could be right.
