Title: Check my last year beginner hive. How much drone comb is too much?
Post by: njoylife10 on April 25, 2011, 12:38:56 AM
This hive had about a frame and a half (front and back) of drone comb?  So how much is too much?  There was also capped worker brood and some uncapped larvae.  I didn't see any eggs, but the light was really bad so I could have just missed it.

A frame and a half isn't that much really...I've had them with 4-5 frames this year. No worries :)
