Title: How long does it take bees to get used to a top entrance?

Is this something that I should have started them off with from the very first, or will it only take a day or two for them to get back to their normal gig.

Curious...what is your purpose..... of going to a top entrance vs the more common bottom?

If you add the top, wait a few days and block the bottom, they will quickly figure things out.  They don't have a choice.
