Title: Bee photo sources
Post by: rober on May 12, 2011, 08:26:31 PM
I pulled frames from my 3-1 week old hives. These were started with nucs. My mentor recommended division board feeders s each hive has a feeder, 5 wooden nuc frames, & 3 new wood frames with foundation. In 1 hive it looks like they started drawing out 1 frame & quit. the other 2 new frames are untouched. all i see is honey & pollen. no eggs or larva. hive 2 is the same except all new frames are untouched. 1 frame looks like it may have drone brood ( really not sure what i'm looking at). 3rd hive looks good, they are drawing out the new frames & while i've not seen any eggs i do see some larva & i think i saw the queen. so are there any good online photos of brood, eggs, larva, drone brood??
i've searched but have not really found any really good photos.
