Title: Helped a friend with his bees

I didn't have any gear and the only place they would sting me is on my head. The guy in the bee suit is my friend Bruce.

  Did you have a smoker  :? If I am going work bee without a veil I will need a smoker.

I smoked them good he said they were a little pissy the darn thing's followed me for 200 yard's when we were done.

Irwin, I feel your pain
I was hit 7 times on the head a week ago. There is something about being stung on the face, it just hurst like mad.  The two stings in my lip made me think my lip was going to explode from the swelling and my right eye was darn near swollen shut.

boy i hate it when they are like that.  had one early in spring that i was about to burn they were so bad, but a couple of weeks later they were fine.  go figure....

what happened to your gear??

My guess is that they re-queened themselves.
