Title: Hops and Green Honey?
Post by: AliciaH on May 13, 2011, 09:55:25 PM
So, I'm in WA and trying to find out more about Hop Guard.  I decided a some point during my reading that I should plant hops in my apiary.  I was only going to plant one or two, but I got my husband involved, so now, of course, we have 12  ;)!

Since most of my reading was from a mite treatment view, there is no discussion about honey.  But I stopped in to a cidery / meadery up the road and the proprietor told me that hops makes green honey.

I searched for "green honey" here, but only tripped over a thread on loosestrife.

For any of you out there that have hops plants, is that so?  If it is, is it edible?
