Title: MH/Carnolian Mix
Post by: rober on May 16, 2011, 02:20:07 AM
I've searched & read about the Carniolan Bees. What does MH stand for? I've been offered a hive of MH/Carniolan mix bees. would this mix do well in missouri?

Its a Minnesota Hygienic and Carniolian Cross.  I dont know your area but I dont see why they would not do good there.  Minnesota Hygienics are a strain of Italian.  I just installed four of these MN/Carnies in nucs last a little over a week ago so I hope they are a good idea, lol.  I do know the carnies I got last fall wintered real well.
