Title: Another Apple Tree Swarm.
Post by: jhs494 on May 25, 2011, 11:29:33 PM
Great swarm call in another apple tree. A good two pound swarm. This is the fourth apple tree swarm this year and no ladder necessary. I like them when they are low.
We shook them into a nuc box and spotted the queen as we shook them in. Put her in a queen clip for the ride home. I passed these on to my Dad to help offset some of his winter losses.

Sweet.   Always got to love the low ones.

My apple trees just started to flower two days ago.  We are so far behind in MT this spring because of the cold.
