Nice cut out, good big comb and old enough to not be soft and fragile.
Good job there!

schawee on your bee vac i am useing the same exact hose as you i did a cut out yesterday that was huge and i killed half of the bees my vac is home made i can control the suction do you have a pad or other that the bees hit when they enter box i could smell a sour smell coming from mine think it was the bees puking on themselves when hitting the wood to hard
Another cool video.
Thanks schawee.

Thanks Schawee, that was fun to watch. I really liked the large comb coming out. Looked like lots of honey.
By the way, the size of that queen is similar to the size of the queens out here. Here they are all small like that.
Annette
wade i don't have a pad in my box and have no problem with killing the bees.lost maybe 20 on this cutout.sounds like you have alil to much suction .you want it to just bearly pull them off the cumb . annette, this queen is on the small size .i would say it the smallest queen i got on a cutout. schawee
