Title: Queens piping and tooting
Post by: enchplant on June 04, 2011, 03:29:57 AM
The other day I opened up my mating nucs to see how my newly hatched virgin queens were doing. They were calling from one to another from one compartment of the mating nuc to the next.
here is a video. piping queen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYecvVhkpKI#ws)

That was such a good video.   But the virgins were not running around as fast as I normally see.   Great footage.

That was an amazing video!   I always wondered what piping sounded like.

Thanks for posting this, Larry

That was so great and I will pass this on to other beeks in my area who have never heard this.
