We removed bees from a large apartment complex. We were told that we would have electricity. When we showed up no one really knew where the bees were located. Jerome, who you will see in the video walked around several buildings and finally located the bees.
The building had no electricity and someone had ripped the ceiling open and attempted to remove the colony but the bees just moved over a foot or so and deeper into the building.
After we removed the bees we had some time to kill, so we went and ate chinese & went to a sporting goods store to kill even more time.
Before we left the complex I sat down with one of the managers and explained to him why we had to come back after dark, that we had a bee hive in a box atop a ladder and to please leave the gate open for us.
You guessed it, when we arrive right after dark we were greeted to a locked gate!
I would have cut the chain but that sucker wouldn't cut with the hack saw and my bolt cutter's were too small (going to buy a bigger set very soon, for next time! :-D )
I tried calling the manager who promised up and down the gate would be open, to no avail.
We were faced with a decision and bees that were well over a hundred yards from the truck!
Don't have any footage of what happened next but let's just say a couple of
coon asses almost went to jail this night! :-D

Thanks for video! I've tried looking for queens in the past 2 cut outs and was rewarded with a finger sting or two. Y'all make it look so easy.

Careful Schawee...a man that dumps bees down your back repeatedly and giggles about it later, will probably sell you out when the man shows up. "Schawee did it!" LoL

I want to know the whole story and what you did to get to the bees later on.
Annette, I seriously tried to cut the chain on the fence with my bolt cutters and my hack saw but had no luck there, so we went with plan "C".
Unbolted the fence in several places from top to bottom, undid a few wires and we were in!
Then we walked in the pitch dark to get the bees which were (according to Schawee) 200 yards away.
We had to haul the hive (a deep) and ladder and a bucket back to the truck.
I happened to spot this shopping cart and it was all good from there.
I couldn't believe they locked the gate on us after I told the manager TWICE that we needed to access THAT gate to get the bees out.
We made it out in one piece and can now laugh about it!
BTW folks, what's up with the pink tu tu? Seriously? :-D

we had a plan,lets see plan a, squeeze through between the gates ,no good j p couldn't fit :-D plan b cut the lock or chain with bolt cutter.no good bolt cutter was way too small.plan c, hacksaw chain or lock ,no good blade dull. plan d, take down fence .we're in and got the bees ,but i truely think jp would have throwen me to the dogs if we got caught :-D AND NOW YOU KNOW THE RESRT OF THE STORY ...SCHAWEE
So you are saying that JP can out run you Schawee and leave you for the dogs?

ANNETTE, WE DID PUT THE FENCE BACK .ALLEN I SAW HIM RUN FROM BEES AND LEFT ME THERE TO FEND FOR MYSELF.JUST SAYING. :-D
