I am a new beekeeper.

What do people mean when they say rubber bands?

You take some comb in need of a frame, you put it in the frame and put rubber bands around the frame to hold the comb in the frame.

A rubber band (in some regions known as a binder, an elastic or elastic band, a lackey band, laggy band, lacka band or gumband) is a short length of rubber and latex formed in the shape of a loop.

VM, He is from down under. They use different terms for things then we do. As a chicken is a chook.
I wasn't being funny, I was trying to find a term he was familiar with.
